Mitesh Jain is the Founder and Chief Travel Psychologist at Mandeha, the world's first applied travel psychology practice. With over a decade of experience in applied psychology, psychometrics, and organizational performance, Mitesh has built his career at the intersection of behavioral science and real-world design, translating complex psychometric data into tools people can actually use to travel, work, and live with more intention.He holds a Master's degree in Psychology and an Honorary Doctorate in Applied Psychology and Innovation from Dunster Business School, Switzerland, and has developed proprietary assessment frameworks, including the Tangible Travel Tool (TTT) and the Soul Assist assessment, used to map how personality, emotional patterns, and travel choices intersect. His work spans niche psychological domains most practitioners never touch, travel psychology, sports psychology, and esports psychology and extends into public policy: in 2023, Mitesh served as a Psychology Expert with the Indian government's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), contributing to the drafting of the Gaming and Digital Bill.His contributions to the field have been recognized nationally and internationally. He is a two-time winner of the Global Health and Pharma (GHP) Award for "Most Dedicated Psychologist (Mumbai)" (2020, 2022), a nominee for the IFAH Top 100 Healthcare Leaders Award, and has received the "Eminent Alumnus" award from Somaiya University and the "Distinguished Alumni Award" from the Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR).At Mandeha, Mitesh writes and researches at the crossroads of psychology and practical wellbeing, exploring what it actually means to travel with purpose, not just distance.
